Wow…how true is this statement? And, how applicable is this statement and in how many contexts (i.e. medical, political, business, spiritual, judicial…etc.)

And how critical is proper intervention in cases such as these? What manner of intervention is best given a specific situation? Most importantly, how do we keep ourselves from being or becoming killers with good intentions, in our respective fields?

I wish I could have been a bee on the wall to observe Sis. Patina arguing, and eventually winning her case. For me, the term “case-study”, comes to mind.

Also this quote, attributed to Edmund Burke, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” However the “good” men and women have to act intelligently, in time, and in the right spirit (HQ 16:125)

I do find both of these articles very interesting and thought provoking. Below are just some bullet-points that highlight some of my initials reactions to reading the two articles.

* Several things stand out for me when reading these two (Aphasia 4 &5). First, I am so glad that Sis. Patina posted testimonials on the http://www.cuttingedgeknowledge.org website and that they were also included in Aphasia 5. The more I learn of Sis. Patina’s work, the more thankful I am to Allah for her and for the healing she has facilitated in Bro Jabril and in the many others she has helped over the years. May Allah continue to bless and protect her and grant her the best of His rewards.

* There is a strong sense of urgency that comes out when reading these two pieces. Something like when time is running out and a final tally is to be taken to determine a decisive result or outcome. The desired “outcome”, in this case is to get as many as possible to take the proper attitude and actions with respect to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Two who back him.

* When time is running out, efforts have to be streamlined or focused into the most essential areas for success. This is what I see at the beginning of 2006, where Bro. Jabril’s efforts were constrained to the “two books, the weekly articles in The Final Call, responding to letters of Brothers in the prisons, and a few Believers.”

* What these two books were is extremely significant. What they contain are keys, especially as they relate to HEM—as he is; the proper attitude in handling trials, obtaining/becoming adequate helpers; and more. Those articles in the FCN were also significant, as were those correspondences.

* The fight is not only “on”, but it is reaching it’s climax. Part of what makes this time so dangerous is the wicked opposition from within and from without that has signed on to the ultimate aim of this world which is to kill the Messenger of God, and then some.

I hope that we all will really take the time to look into; and as deeply as we can, WHY Brother Jabril is sharing this very personal and sensitive information with us. As always, in sharing what he has and is, I believe that he’s really trying to help US, the Believers, to be better helpers of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, as the Minister works to fulfill the responsibility laid upon him by Allah and His Messiah.

In my opinion, Allah is using this immense trial of Brother Jabril’s PHYSICAL condition to teach us something of our own SPIRITUAL condition.

As he has shared, he is suffering from, “…a disruption in the nerve fibers that connects the two centers in the brain for language.” Naturally, this affects communication (conveying or transferring knowledge and information). What does this have to do with me; you; US? Other than the fact that we love our brother and pray earnestly for his full recovery, there is a lesson in his suffering for us, a lesson that I believe he is trying to get us to see.

Consider the following: 1) the damage to a neural pathway of the brain, which is part of the nervous system. The nervous system is that network of specialized cells that communicate information about one surroundings and itself. It also processes this information and causes reactions in other parts of the body. 2) A pathway is a line of communication. A “way” is a manner or method of doing or happening. It is a method or means of accomplishing something. 3) The two main areas of the nervous system are the Brain (central nervous system) and the Spinal Cord (peripheral nervous system).

As Believers, we are like a “neck” which connects the head with the body. The Minister, backed by the Two (Allah and His Messiah), is the head and the masses of our people are the body. In short, we are supposed to act as an effective pathway for our people to connect with our Minister. However, if this pathway is disrupted, damaged, or otherwise impaired, the knowledge and information that should be shared and/or communicated is not transferred or conveyed properly. The result is a body that does not react properly to the head (knowledge and information) because it was not conveyed properly; a head separated from the body because of an ineffective “neck” or a disrupted “pathway”.

The Minister has mastered the Language and is a masterful communicator. We must take the time and make the effort to prepare ourselves to follow the way of the Minister in order to properly help him to fulfill the mission of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

I am grateful to Allah, who appeared in the person of Master Fard Muhammad for blessing Brother Jabril Muhammad to be with us today, who has undergone, withstood and come through great pain and suffering. I also thank Allah for his mother.

I thank Allah for Dr. Patina Muhammad and for the loving support of her family, for her unyielding, unwavering and ongoing professional medical care and support that she has and is providing to our Brother Jabril, as well as others, under great trial.

After reading the public statement by Brother Jabril and the Investigation Report of Defamation Attack Upon Dr. Patina by The Law offices of Carlos F. Negrete, my first thought was, all praise is due to Allah! The second thought was absolute brilliant defined as “having or showing great intelligence, talent, quality, etc., strong and clear in tone, sharp, vivid, marked by unusual and impressive intellectual acuteness.”

Brother Jabril shared with the public a part of himself, in a very personal unique way, which demonstrates, among other things, a great love for knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Furthermore, I appreciate the fact that he has provided us a deep insight into his health condition to educate, enlighten and to help us to understand his condition. Scientifically speaking, for every physical counterpart there is a divine spiritual counterpart. What is Allah and His Christ, the most Honorable Elijah Muhammad doing and why? What is the significance of the timing of this? We should want to comprehend the significance of this public letter and investigation report and its consequences.

Throughout his statement I thought that Brother Jabril clearly and precisely imparted, out of love, definitive facts that are strategic in nature. In my humbled opinion, out of love, it serves as a serious warning to those who love to play with and spread fires of spiritual death, such as slander, slack talk, vicious gossip, outright lies, especially when real facts can easily be obtained. Out of love, it serves as a warning for those who are jealous and have an envious heart and spirit. Out of love, it also serves as a serious warning to those who enjoys listening, passing and engaging oneself and others in such wickedness and evils for self-aggrandizement. Most importantly, in my humble opinion, this serves as an opportunity for our Nation’s spiritual and emotional growth that will help to fortify us as Believers, if properly studied and the principles applied, first to self and then others.

I appreciate and thank Allah for The Law offices of Carlos F. Negrete for their divine work and thorough investigation in clearing Dr. Patina of all false allegations, and from this we can see clearly why Brother Jabril, with the guidance of Allah, chose Dr. Patina to be his doctor in the very beginning.

Thank you Brother Jabril and Sister Dr. Patina. May Allah continue to bless you both.
